Our ultimate goal is to raise $25,000 by the end of our inaugural gala. This ambitious target reflects our dedication to significantly impacting our community, ensuring that post-secondary educational resources are accessible to everyone who needs them.

What Will the Money Raised Be Used for Specifically?

Direct Support for Post-Secondary Educational Initiatives

Every dollar raised will go directly towards empowering black-owned women’s behavioral health organizations in Lucas County to expand access to post-secondary training and educational opportunities. These funds will directly impact the lives of individuals in our community, providing them with the academic support needed to overcome mental health challenges and lead fulfilling lives.

More Funding Details

Our goal is to raise at minimum $25,000 during this spectacular event. The funds raised through the 2025 Inaugural Mental Health Gala: Strength in Unity will be split between Revitalized Behavioral Healthcare and Here’s My Turning Point and will be directly allocated to educational and professional development opportunities that empower individuals navigating mental health challenges. Our goal is to remove barriers to education and employment, fostering greater independence, self-sufficiency, and long-term success.

The funds raised will support individuals overcoming mental health challenges by covering expenses related to post-secondary education, including:

• Certificate programs
• Licensure programs
• Workforce readiness training
• And more opportunities for career advancement

This initiative is more than just financial aid—it’s about creating sustainable change by providing individuals with the tools and resources they need to build stable careers and brighter futures.
